Sunday, September 8th, 2019! New Sunday Chess Club in Vancouver

Our chess club provides casual & tournament play with  a short lecture from 6-6:30.

The tournaments are 5 rounds and run 5 weeks — you play one game a week! All sections will be CFC (Chess Federation of Canada) rated. There will be four sections: U1000, U1400, U1800 & Open. If there is less than 6 players in a section, we will have to combine two. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each sections. Tournaments will start at 6:30pm.

Lectures are 30 minutes long. Woman National Master will be the lecturer for first few events and then we will get a few other instructors so there is a variety. Lectures are not for beginners, but intermediate, advanced and expert players. Beginner chess players should sign up for our beginner workshop.

Chess Club Starts: Sunday, September 8th!!
